For all of my friends out there who are looking for a way to look better, with healthy, clear skin, keep reading. I know I have done my share of searching for the "magic potion" we all think acne needs. But there really is none. You simply need to monitor what goes on your skin and inside your body. Your skin is an organ, just like your heart, lungs, and brain, and we must treat it as such to keep it healthy and fresh. Now this doesn't mean that you have to drastically change your diet and start exercising. This works, but you don't need to be this crazy to get clear skin! Here are some tips that I have devised to get rid of acne:
1. Devise a beauty regime, and stick to it:
This isn't as hard as it seems. Believe it or not, all of us have some sort of daily and nightly regime: wash your face, brush your teeth, etc. All you have to do is add in factors to your regime that will aid your skin in regenerating itself to it's full potential. Here is an example:
A) Cleanse
B)Tone
C)Moisturize
It's that simple! Now, I will get into specific natural toners, cleansers and moisturizers soon, but for now let's keep going to tip number...
2. Drink LOTS of water!!!
This isn't just great for your skin; water allows your body to flush out unwanted toxins, immediately making all of your organs healthier, especially your skin!
Get a water bottle (not plastic!! but stainless steel!) and drink at least 2 liters of water a day. Most water bottles are a liter, so just drink two rounds and you'll be set!
3. Incorporate Green Tea in your diet
Green tea is an amazing antioxidant that not only prevents diseases, but it also purifies your body! And whatever is inside your body will show on the outside! I drank one glass of special tea, Neem tea, made from leaves from a Neem tree, which completely cleared my skin and purified my blood. It's amazing for blood pressure, diabetes, and just about everything else in the book! Green Tea ROCKS!!
Stay tuned for my next post, where I'll go into detail which natural remedies you can choose from when preventing acne, as well as the specifics. Au revoir!
